This year a mission of the United Nations Development Programme, composed of specialists from the U.N. and its Specialized Agencies, including Unesco, went to the Mongolian People's Republic to discuss with the authorities the expansion of a programme for technological, scientific, educational and social development. We present some articles on Mongolia today written specially for the Unesco Courier by two of these specialists.
